@SolarFlare I didn’t bet on that option and personally I’d say this isn’t really a compliment. Something like, “the president has a great mind and lots of insight on how to help serve New Yorkers” would be but “I appreciate that the president didn’t actively shit himself metaphorically or physically for the length of our meeting about how to serve New Yorkers” would not be. I think Mamdani’s phrasing exactly on the line of total neutrality, he emphasizes their disagreement but is thankful Trump didn’t tantrum.
